The Transylvania Choral Society would like to invite you to celebrate the Christmas Season with us as we perform the Gloria by John Rutter, plus works by Morten Lauridsen, David Willcocks, and Jonathan Willcocks, in the Porter Center on the campus of Brevard College on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at 3 p.m.
The concert and “Hallelujah Chorus” will be conducted by Dr. David Gresham, Artistic Director. Joining us will be the Brevard College Chamber Singers and the Blue Ridge Symphonic Brass. Carols will include The Birthday Carol, The Holly and the Ivy, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
We will close our December 11 concert with the beloved “Hallelujah Chorus” joined by members of local church choirs in this rousing favorite.
Our goal is to involve as many choristers and community members as possible. Choristers who register with us by purchasing a $10 concert ticket online before December 1 will have their name listed in our concert program as well as here on our website.
